Promotion Terms & Conditions 

Promoter: Venchi S.p.A., Via Monti 8, Milan, Italy (“we”, “us”)

1. HOW IT WORKS

1.1 You can earn special promotion points (Points) by completing various Missions and making purchases in Venchi stores during the Promotion. From 01/05/2022 through and including 31/05/2022 Your Points can be redeemed in-store on selected Venchi items (Rewards). From 01/06/2022 through and including 31/05/2023 your Points can be redeemed both in-store and online (Venchi e-commerce) on selected Discounts.

1.2 The more Points you earn, the higher value Rewards you can claim (see parts 4 and 5 below for more details).

1.3 Please note that each of the thirty (30) Rewards can be claimed only once every 48 hours, unless otherwise provided. Daily and weekly limits apply to the number of receipts you can upload to the App (see part 4.2.3).
Please note that each single of the five Discount Rewards of equal value can be claimed only once every 48 hours, unless otherwise provided. Discounts of different value are cumulative, meaning that you can simultaneously activate 2 or more discounts of different value in the same purchase or in the same receipt , but cannot activate 2 Discount of the same value.
Please note that Discount Rewards can only be used for a purchase of a value equal to or greater than the value of the voucher itself. Shipping costs are not included

2. ELIGIBILITY

2.1 The Promotion is only open to residents of Great Britain aged 18 or over. You may be asked to provide proof of age in order to claim your Rewards.

2.2 The following are not eligible to participate in the Promotion:

  • residents of Northern Ireland;
  • employees or agents of the Promoter and their family members; and
  • any other business or person involved in the running of the Promotion.


3. OPENING AND CLOSING DATE

3.1 The Promotion will be active between the dates of 01 May 2022 and 31 May 2023.
You can only earn Points between these dates. Points will not be awarded in respect of any Missions you complete or receipts you upload to the App before or after these dates. We may, however, open additional Promotion periods in the future – please see 3.3 below.

3.2 Please note that your Points will only be available to use by the last day of the Promotion period and not later than 31 May 2023. After this date, your Points may be removed from your account.

3.3 We may open a new Promotion period in the future after this Promotion has expired. If we do this, we may decide (at our sole discretion) not to delete the Points from your account following expiry of the above described Promotion. In such cases you will only be able to use those Points to claim Rewards during the dates that the new Promotion is open, subject to any new Terms and Conditions that may apply to the new Promotion period.

4. HOW TO EARN POINTS

4.1 In order to participate in the Promotion and start earning Points, you must download the Venchi app (the App) to your iOS or Android device and complete all the steps required to register your account. If your device does not support the App you will be unable to participate. You may need to update the App from time-to-time in order take advantage of any new features.

4.2 There are two ways you can earn Points during the Promotion:

Making purchases in Venchi stores and in the Venchi e-commerce website (https://uk.venchi.com/)

  • 4.2.1: You can earn ten (10) Points for (1) every one pound (£1) you spend in any participating Venchi store in the UK; (2) for every one euro (1€) you spend in any participating Venchi store in Italy (see https://venchi-cioccolatoegelato.it/map/stores for details) and for (3) every one pound (£1) you spend on the Venchi e-commerce website (https://uk.venchi.com/) during the Promotion – subject to the restrictions described below.
  • 4.2.2: In order for the Points to be awarded to your account, you must use the tool on your App to scan the QR Code printed on the till receipt and/or on the e-mail confirmation order received from the Venchi ecommerce website following your purchase. The relevant Points will be added to your account automatically. You can upload the Points to your account automatically at the store’s cash register when checking out without the need to scan the receipt.
    Please note that, if the Points are uploaded directly at the store’s sales counter to the App, the receipt cannot be scanned.
  • 4.2.3: You can earn Points (either by scanning the QR Code or automatically at the store’s cash register) by uploading a maximum of three (3) receipts per day to the App, subject to a maximum of ten (10) receipts per week. If you upload more than the maximum number of receipts in any one day or week, you will not be awarded any Points in respect of the excess receipts.
  • 4.2.4: For the purposes of calculating your weekly limit of receipts that can be uploaded to the App, your limit will run for 8 days, starting from the day that you upload your first receipt to the App. For example, if you upload your first receipt on a Wednesday, you can only upload ten (10) receipts until 23:59 on the following Wednesday. Your weekly limit would then reset at 00:00 on Thursday. The next weekly limit would run for 7 days starting from the next day that you upload a receipt to the App, and so on.
  • 4.2.5: Please note that if you make a purchase at a Venchi store in Italy, your Points will reflect the amount spent in euros, not pound sterling. This means that you will receive 10 points for every euro spent. Please note that if you make a purchase at a Venchi store in Italy, you must use the tool on your App to scan the QR Code printed on the till receipt. 
  • 4.2.6: Points will only be awarded for every full pound or euro that you spend. For example, if you spend £9.50, you will receive 90 points, not 95 points.

Registration and Completing Venchi missions

  • 4.2.7: You can also earn 10 Points for every one pound (£1) spent by registering your account on the App and by uploading prove of your first purchase to obtain the Welcome award and claim it at the store. Store staff may request to see any kind of official ID card (such as passport, driver’s license, etc.) before giving you the Award. You cannot claim Welcome" Awards for third parties (by way of example: people/users/accounts).

Refer a Friend

Invite a friend to register for the App.

You must generate an Invite Code via the App to share with your friends. Your friend must download the App and enter the Invite Code. Your Points will only be awarded when your friend has activated the confirmation email and logged in to the App.

You can invite up to five (5) friends. A different Invite Code must be used each time.

The points will be awarded after you have downloaded the App, signed-up, entered the Invite Code, activated your confirmation email and logged-in to the App.

Complete your personal details

If you wish to complete this mission (which is entirely optional) You must complete your user profile by filling in all of the relevant fields (name, surname, birthday, phone number, address, Venchi store of choice).

Survey

Surveys may relate to purchasing behaviour, user’s behaviour on the use of the application, or events during the Promotion period. You must respond to each question in the Survey to complete the survey mission.

Quiz

You will be invited to answer “quiz” questions from time-to-time. Points will be awarded for providing correct answers to the quiz questions.

Choose your favourite flavour

You must choose your favourite flavour of Venchi products amongst a range of options as displayed on the App.

Choose your favourite packaging

You must choose your favourite Venchi packaging amongst a range of options as displayed on the App.

Venchi Store Check-In

You must visit a Venchi store and scan the QR code found near the entrance or inside the store on your App. You cannot check-in at the same store twice in one day. However, you can still do more than one check-in at different stores on the same day.

  • 4.2.9: In addition to the Missions listed above, we may add extra Missions throughout the Promotion. Details of these additional Missions (including the Points value and steps you need to complete to earn the Points) will be detailed in the App.
  • 4.2.10: Please note that, with the exception of Survey, Quiz and Venchi Store “check-in”, each Mission can only be completed once.
  • 4.2.11: The Points for completing each Mission will be added to the account on your App as soon as you have completed all of the necessary steps for the relevant Mission. If you have completed the Mission but your Points have not been added to your account, please contact us at app.support@venchi.com.

4.3 Please note that on the occasion of particular events and special happenings (by way of example but not limited to birthdays, or special holidays, etc) we may award special Points value multipliers which will be announced in advance to users through the APP.

4.4 You can check your Points balance at any time using the App.

4.5 Any Points you earn are personal to you and may not be sold, transferred or assigned to, or shared with, family, friends or others. We reserve the right to cancel or deduct any Points awarded to you if:

  • the Points were added to your account in relation to items which you subsequently return to the store for a refund;
  • the Points were awarded in error, or as a result of a claim that we subsequently determine was invalid or fraudulent; or
  • if we reasonably determine that you have acted in bad faith and taken unfair advantage of the Promotion.
     

5. REWARDS

5.1 There are thirty (30) different Rewards to claim, each of which has its own Points value depending on the category: Band 1 (250 points); Band 2 (500 points); Band 3 (900 points); Band 4 (1,700 points) and Band 5 (4,000 points). The Rewards are listed below:

5.2 Please note that each single Reward listed above can be claimed only once every 48 hours, meaning you cannot claim the same value Reward twice within a 48 hours’ time period. For example, if you have claimed a Small Gourmet Cone (250 points) once, you will only be able to claim another Small Gourmet Cone 48 hours after you activated that Reward in accordance with 6.1.

5.3 There are five (5) different Discount Rewards to claim, each of which has its own Points value depending on the category: Band 1 (300 points); Band 2 (800 points); Band 3 (1500 points); Band 4 (3,000 points) and Band 5 (4,500 points). The Rewards are listed below:

Please note that each of one of the Discount Reward listed above can be claimed only once every 48 hours meaning you cannot claim the same value Reward twice within the 48 hours’ time period. For example, if you have claimed a Discount Rewards 5 £ (300 points) once, you will only be able to claim another Discount Rewards 5 £ (300 points) 48 hours after you had activated that Reward in accordance with 6.1.

Discounts are cumulative, meaning that you can simultaneously activate 2 or more discounts of different value in the same purchase or in the same receipt, but cannot activate 2 Discounts of the same value. For example, the participant who reaches 1800 points will be able to simultaneously activatein the same purchase or in the same receipt, the 5 euro discount coupon for the first band (300 points) and the 35 euro discount coupon for the third band (1500 points).

5.4 It is possible to use several Rewards of different value (discount coupons) issued from the app for a single purchase. These awards cannot be combined with other discounts or existing promotions (for example: welcome discount codes, employee discounts, affiliation discount, catalog discounts, ...). These Rewards cannot be used to purchase already discounted items

5.5 Please note that Discount Rewards listed above can only be used for a purchase of a value equal to or greater than the value of the voucher itself. Shipping costs are not included

5.6 We may add special Rewards during the promotion that will be awarded strictly in connection with special Missions. These special Rewards can only be claimed once during the Promotion.

5.7 All Rewards are non-transferable and you may not request an alternative Reward (cash or
otherwise).

5.8 Please note that all Rewards Listed in (Table 1) are subject to availability. For more
information on what happens if the store you visit is temporarily out of the item you wish to claim, please see 6.3 below.

6. HOW TO CLAIM YOUR REWARDS

6.1 When you have sufficient Points to claim one or more of the Rewards listed above at part 5, you must “activate” the Reward you wish to claim via the App. This will enable you to generate a digital voucher on the App, which can then be redeemed at one of our Venchi stores in England see https://venchi-cioccolatoegelato.it/map/stores for details). Just present the voucher (or the Voucher’s QR code generated when activating the Reward) at the sales counter to claim your Reward.

6.2 The digital voucher will remain valid for 5 minutes once activated. You must make sure that you use the voucher during this time. After the 5 minutes has expired, the voucher will no longer be valid and you will not be able to claim the Reward.

6.3 If the Venchi store you visit is temporarily out of stock for the item you have requested, the store may offer you a replacement item of equal value. If you accept this replacement, you will still be deemed to have claimed the relevant Reward.

6.4 Please note that the Reward listed in Table 1 as Discount Coupon- on the website on part 5.1 above can only be claimed via our website. You can use your Points in the Venchi stores and in the Venchi e-commerce website in Great Britain and Italy by following the voucher redeem process described above.

6.5 All The Discount Rewards listed in Table 2 can be claimed both in store and via our website.
Please note that each Discount Rewards listed above have two (2) different Codes according your choice of claim. One Code has to be claimed in Store and the other one has to be claimed on e-commerce.
A clear alert will make you choose the correct code according to your choice.
You can use your Points in the Venchi stores and in the Venchi e-commerce website in Great Britain and Italy by following the voucher redeem process described above.

6.6 As the Promotion is only open to those over the age of 18, Venchi shop staff may ask for proof of age before issuing a Reward. We reserve the right to refuse to issue a Reward if you fail to provide an acceptable proof of age upon request.

7. OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS

7.1 By taking part in the Promotion, all participants are bound to these terms and conditions. Any participant who does not comply with these terms and conditions, or whom we suspect is engaged in fraudulent or illegal behaviour, may be disqualified from the Promotion and have their Points cancelled without notice. We may temporarily suspend any account while we investigate whether a breach has occurred.

7.2 We may modify these terms and conditions at any time, but will notify you by email or via the App if there are any changes that significantly affect your rights under this Promotion.

7.4 We are not responsible for any failure to award Points or issue Rewards caused by circumstances outside our control, including (but not limited to) infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, unavoidable technical failures or any other issues outside our control which may corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion.

7.5 In the unlikely event of one or more Rewards becoming permanently unavailable due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, we reserve the right to: (a) substitute the Reward for one of equal or greater value; and (b) to modify, extend or suspend the Promotion.

7.6 You must not participate in the Promotion for commercial gain and may only claim Rewards for your personal use.

7.7 These terms and conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with English Law and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
